E-2000 Series LED exposing units from Vastex now feature a more powerful vacuum pump that provides tight screen-to-film contact in as little as four seconds, producing high resolution half-tones and crisp detail on the most intricate graphics, announced Mark Vasilantone, president. Model E2-2536, which can expose screens up to 63 x 91 cm, achieves tight screen-to-film contact in 4 seconds. Model E2-5236, which accommodates one screen up to 132 x 91 cm or two screens with outside dimensions up to 63 x 91 cm, achieves tight screen-to-film contact in 6 seconds. “Ultra-fast vacuum times, together with rapid LED exposure times, allow screen printers to achieve superior reproduction quality in less time than ever before possible,” says Vasilantone. Both models come standard with LCD touch screen controls that provide accurate, user-friendly settings and up to 10 presets. They are available self-standing, or in tabletop configurations that can be mounted on matching Dri-Vault™ screen drying cabinets, also from the company. Vastex manufacture three lines of manual screen printing presses for starting shops to high-volume commercial printers, infrared conveyor dryers, flash cure units, washout booths and complete screen printing shop systems.
