The Spanish company has been awarded with WGSN Global Fashion Award for the best sustainable design team in the world, will participate in the German textile trade show, the 2nd and 3th of September.
The company specifically, have been used technologies such as laser and ozone nanobubbles for worn, breaks, textures, washing and softening, that has allowed to create a unique collection that appears as the latest trends can be combined with processes that respect the environment, without losing the final look. The key of this collection is the use of the Jeanologia software EIM, to monitoring garment processing that allows savings in water, chemicals and energy, achieved through the use of these technologies. With this software, Jeanologia makes a contribution to the denim industry, so professionals can evaluate the environmental impact of the finishing process, calculating the consumption of water, energy and chemical use and its impact on the health of workers in each process for garment finishing. It is a revolutionary tool that will allow both laundries and brands implement sustainable processes in their manufacturing centres and control its development, regardless of what country they are in, to produce ecological collections based on the same parameters anywhere world. On this regard, Jeanologia’s President, Enrique Silla, said: “thanks to EIM software and Jeanologia Technologies we can say that product and ecology are possible, and we do not have to sacrifice the product to be green, a vintage and fashionable product can be done in a sustainable way, without harming the environment and without increasing production costs” Therefore, Enrique Silla has encouraged the denim industry to become aware of their responsibility to protect the environment through technological advances that allow the creation of collections fashion and vintage while respecting the environment and health of workers. As released, “the future of the textile industry would require integration of design and sustainable techniques, developing good products that respect the environment.” In this sense he insisted that “once again comes to show consumers not only the product itself but also the way it is made, because transparency and sustainability are the keys to new industrial era.” Jeanologia Laser, machines reproduce in an automatic and efficient way wear and tear, denim elements, ripped or broken textures in garments without harming the health of workers and the environment, saving energy, water, chemicals, hand labor and time in the production process. The G2 eco-washer that reduces by more than 60% water consumption and energy and about 85% in chemicals. Furthermore, it eliminates the use of toxic processes like bleaching and using permanganate. This machine uses ozone and oxygen in the atmosphere to wear down color in the garment creating an authentic vintage look. E-flow system that, based on the technology of nano-bubble acts as a properties carrier vehicle for clothes without using water or chemical will be also displayed. This technology “zero discharge” of waste is completely free and allows multiple features such as softening, 3D effects with resins, water repellence and easy care. Furthermore Jeanologia has developed the Dynamic laser and eco technology; laser engraving and ozone ageing in continuous fabric form. “German market is aware and conscious of ecological processes, wants sustainable fashion in collections, and that is because, Jeanologia, presents in this exhibition the new collection in order to show German market that, through sustainable processes such as laser and nano-bubbles, a new, trendy, unique, and easily reproducibly product can be obtained.
