Dünyada 107 milyar dolarlık ihracat pazarı bulunan teknik tekstiller için Ar-Ge ve inovasyon yatırımları hız kesmeden sürerken, Türkiye’de de bu alanda rekora koşuluyor. Ocak-Ağustos 2020 döneminde Türkiye’nin gerçekleştirdiği teknik tekstil ihracatı geçen yılın tamamında yapılan teknik tekstil ihracatının üzerine çıkarak, 1.8 milyar dolara ulaştı.
Pandemi nedeniyle Nisan ve Mayıs ayında ciddi bir kayıp yaşayan tekstil sektörüne ilişkin ağustos ayı rakamları yüz güldürdü. Tekstil ve hammaddeleri ihracatında yüzde 6.6 oranında bir artış olurken Ağustos ayında özellikle ev tekstili ihracatında 8.3 ve örme kumaş ihracatında 5.3 oranında artış gözlemlendi. Ancak en ciddi artış 1 Ocak- 31 Ağustos döneminde Türkiye’den yapılan teknik tekstil ihracatının 2019 yılında toplamda yapılan teknik tekstil ihracatının üzerine çıkarak, yıllık 1.8 milyar dolara ulaşması oldu. Sektörün son 12 aylık ihracatı ise 2.3 milyar dolar değerinde gerçekleşti.
“KİŞİSEL KORUYUCU DONANIM ÜRÜNLERİ İHRACATINA YÖNELİK HİBELER KALDIRILMALI”
Nanoteknolojik, kirlenmeyen, nefes alan, ısı tutan tekstil ürünleri üretmenin yanında; otomotiv tekstilleri, inşaat, tarım gibi alanlarda da diğer sektörlere kolaylaştırıcı çözümler sunan teknik tekstilin ihracatında yaşanan bu artışı değerlendiren İstanbul Tekstil ve Hammaddeleri İhracatçılar Birliği ( İTHİB ) Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Ahmet Öksüz hammadde temininde yurt dışına bağlı olmayan teknik tekstil sektörünün, pandemi sınavından başarıyla çıktığını söyledi. ABD’nin Covid 19 kapsamında tedarik ettiği tekstil ürünlerine ilişkin teknik bir çalışma gerçekleştirdiklerini bildiren Ahmet Öksüz, konuyla ilgili şu açıklamada bulundu: “Ocak – Ağustos döneminde yaklaşık 1.8 milyar dolar değerinde teknik tekstil ihracatıyla yıllık ihracat verisini aştık. Son 12 aylık ihracatımız ise 2.3 milyar dolar değerinde gerçekleşti. Bu kapsamda hedef yükselterek 2020 yılı sonunda ihracatımızın 2.5 milyar doları aşmasını, 2021 yılında ise 3 milyar dolar ihracat verisine ulaşmayı hedefliyoruz. Ancak hedeflerimize ulaşabilmemiz için hibe oranlarının kaldırılması gerekmektedir. AB’nin Çin’den maske ithalatı son birkaç ayda 10 milyar Euro‘yu aştı. Türkiye ise hibeler sebebiyle maalesef fiyat tutturmada başarılı olamıyor ve Çin tüm piyasaya hâkim durumda. Türkiye’de kişisel koruyucu donanım ürünleri ihracatında hibe şartı var. Ancak hibe şartının ivedilikle kaldırılması gerekiyor. Küresel ölçekte kişisel koruyucu donanım ürünlerine ilişkin talepte bir doygunluğa ulaşıldıktan sonra hibelerin kaldırılmasının bir önemi bulunmayacak. Tekstil ve hammaddeleri sektörü olarak Nisan – Mayıs ayında yaşadığımız kayıpları en az hasarla atlatabilmemiz için küresel ölçekte talebi hâlâ çok yoğun olan kişisel koruyucu donanım ürünlerinde hibelerin kaldırılması gerekiyor.
Esnek üretim yapımız, lojistik kabiliyetimiz ve güçlü adaptasyon kabiliyetimizle öncü bir sektörüz. Rakiplerimize karşı avantajlarımızı mevcut hibe şartı sebebiyle kullanamıyoruz. Türkiye İhracatçılar Meclisimiz öncülüğünde başlatılan üretim seferberliği ile birkaç ay gibi bir sürede dört yüzden fazla firmamız kişisel koruyucu donanım ürünleri üretimine başladı. İhtiyaçlar çerçevesinde hızla kapasite artışına giden sektörlerimiz yeni gelecek talepleri rahatlıkla karşılayabilecek alt yapıya sahiptir.‘’
Technical textile exports run to a record
While R & D and innovation investments for technical textiles market in the world with 107 billion dollars of exports continue unabated, a record in this field in Turkey is experienced. Based on January-August 2020 period, exports of technical textiles made in all of the technical textile exports to Turkey carried out last year, reached $ 1.8 billion.
August figures for the textile industry, which suffered a serious loss in April and May due to the pandemic, made happy. While there was an increase of 6.6 percent in exports of textile and raw materials, an increase of 8.3 percent in home textile exports and 5.3 percent in knitted fabric exports was observed in August. However, the most significant increase between 1 January-31 August period, exports of technical textiles, technical textiles from Turkey surpassed the total exports made in 2019, reached $ 1.8 billion. The sector’s exports for the last 12 months were worth 2.3 billion dollars.
“Grants for export of personal protective hardware products should be removed”
Ahmet Öksüz, Chairman of the Board of Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters’ Association (İTHİB), evaluated this increase in the exports of technical textiles, which offer facilitating solutions to other sectors in areas such as automotive textiles, construction and agriculture in addition to producing textile products that are nano-technologic, do not pollute, breathe and keep heat, said that the technical textile industry, which is not dependent on abroad in raw material supply, successfully passed the pandemic exam. Stating that they carried out a technical study on textile products supplied by the USA under Covid 19, Ahmet Öksüz made the following statement on the subject: “In the January – August period, we exceeded the annual export data with technical textile exports worth about 1.8 billion dollars. Our exports for the last 12 months were worth 2.3 billion dollars. In this context, we aim to increase our target to exceed 2.5 billion dollars by the end of 2020 and to reach 3 billion dollars export data by 2021. However, in order to reach our goals, grant rates must be removed. The EU’s imports of masks from China have exceeded 10 billion Euros in the last few months. Turkey, unfortunately, because of the grants, does not succeed in fixing prices and market dominant position in all of China. There must grant the export of personal protective equipment products in Turkey. However, the grant requirement should be removed immediately. Once the demand for personal protective equipment products has been saturated on a global scale, the withdrawal of grants will not matter. As the textile and raw materials sector, in order to overcome the losses we experienced in April – May with the least damage, grants for personal protective equipment products, which are still in high demand on a global scale, should be removed. We are a pioneering industry with our flexible production structure, logistics capability and strong adaptability. We cannot use our advantages over our competitors due to the current grant requirement. a period of more than four percent, our company began to produce products such as personal protective equipment a few months with our lead generation campaign launched in Turkey Exporters Assembly. Our sectors, which rapidly increase their capacity within the framework of their needs, have the infrastructure to meet new future demands easily.”
